MARKUS THE 8th (150 AA – 232 AA)

Markus the 8th was a composer born during the socially turbulent years of Galenia’s late pre-industrial age. A misunderstood eccentric during his lifetime, his music made almost no impact on Galenian culture until well after his death. In 475 AA, one of his more traditional symphonic pieces entitled “EFFUGIUM” became Galenia’s official planetary anthem.
